It seems one of the kids says something every day now that just cracks me up. Elena had another one the other night. We met for our marriage enrichment group, which happened to land on our 7th anniversary. One of the other couples was nice enough to bring a cake for us that said, "Happy 7th Anniversary."
Elena saw the cake, and when I told her it was for our anniversary she asked, "Does it say 'Happy Anniversary' on it?"
"Yes, it does." I replied.
Then she said, in a somewhat shocked voice, "I'm learning how to read from a cake???"
